CTS Calculator app for iPhone and iPad

An accurate Credit for Time Served Calculator for iOS, created by a probation officer.

The CTS Calculator for iPhone takes Californias conduct-credit law and its frequent changes since July 1, 1977 into account. The software was initially designed for Microsoft Excel and extensively tested. In order to provide increased portability and usability of the software, an iOS version was developed for iPhone and iPad (separate app). To ensure accuracy of the product, the Excel version was used as the primary template for development. The software includes the following features:

1) Accurate Credit for Time Served (CTS) calculations since July 1, 1977. The calculator takes into account:

a) Date of offense
b) Specific custody dates
c) Type of sentence (Probation/Prison/Mandatory Supervision)
d) Type of crime committed (e.g., serious felony, violent felony, etc.)
e) Additional custody days that may not warrant good-time credits.

2) Accurate CTS calculations for Mandatory Supervision cases. The calculator takes into account:

a) Time tolled on Mandatory Supervision
b) Violation custody time
c) Days remaining on Mandatory Supervision
d) The case end date
e) Federal releases after custody time

3) Error messages to indicate possible user input errors

4) Power on/off button
